community organizers? kinda, but not really. and i wonder if the anti-establishment vibe runs similar, the whole “cast off the shackles of authority” stuff.
Yeah, I think my “don’t have a dog in this fight” libertarian ass is going to throw the bullshit flag on this one too. Trying to compare the men who stood for Freedom, Liberty, and Individual Responsibility to the guys who stand for Expanding the Welfare State ain’t gonna fly.
Of course, I wouldn’t compare them to the guys who stand for Expanding the Theocracy and Police State, either.
And really, that explains why I’m done with politics as a whole. The vision of these men is looooooong gone, and in it’s place is a ridiculous power struggle to decide who gets to be the one to fuck you and how.
