Probably Brilliant

[…] The sad reality is that I’m going to firmly support anyone that wins the nomination for the Democratic party. I’ve been hearing that same view from all of my democrat friends.

But the trouble is that it doesn’t feel like my party at times.

    It feels like Republican-lite.

    I hope I’m wrong.

It’s funny… working at a talk radio station, I’ve heard the same exact complaint about the Republican party. That they’re becoming simply Dem lite. Yet, the guys who probably best embrace the core ideals of their parties (Ron Paul for the Rs, Dennis Kucinich for the Ds) are being marginalized as outliers and “kooks”.

I’d say that the political system is due for a revolution, but I know better than that. The electorate is too fucking stupid to vote for anybody except for “the lesser of two evils”, forgetting that the lesser of two evils is still evil.
